I know how crazy it can be to sit down at a computer,
open a new program…
move the mouse around a couple hundred circles, and then close it cause:
“Holy shit, why are there so many buttons and tools?”
Believe me, I have been there myself with certain programs so I know that feeling of overwhelm and frustration.
Bare with me for just a second here, what if you didn’t have to feel like that? What if there was a way that you could open that program and just KNOW what you needed to do, start to finish. Wouldn’t that be awesome!?
My friends, your wish is my command! <<Click to have it granted
I know, I know, why do you need to learn a design program like Adobe Illustrator when there’s the free Do-It-Yourself programs out there?
Well because, you can also buy a tattoo gun at any local flea market, so why can’t you just go ahead and create that new piece you’ve been wanting too..
“That’s just crazy” you say
Well honestly, there’s not much difference. Programs are the tools that professionals use. So if you’re using a dumbified design program, you’re going to be limited on what you can do and how you can make your designs look. You’re also going to be designing and looking exactly like everybody else that is using that program.
Imagine fora minute how good it would feel to sit down at your computer and think “I want…” and then DO exactly that. Instead of having to kinda, sorta, almost get what you were wanting and only after 2 hours of scouring through templates that all start to blur together or muddle your idea in the first place.
Stop doing that to yourself!!
Cure Design Envy once and for all. Become the envy!!
Adobe Illustrator is THE tool for professional designers. I use it for literally everything I design. (Why not Photoshop you ask, well because I’m not working with ‘photos’ and that’s a huge rookie mistake, but we’ll go into that later.)
Illustrator is perfect for creating everything from print products like cards and invitations to online web stuff like social media banners and blog graphics. It’s also THE ONLY program you should use when creating vector images (such as logos).
So today I would like to announce that I will be hosting the very first ever FREE WORKSHOP WEB SERIES:
Down + Dirty: Adobe Illustrator Overview Workshop
I will go over a quick overview of what Illustrator has to offer and show you how to:
- Set up a new document
- Maneuver around the program and workspace
- Create basic shapes, lines, type & colors
- Add images to your file
- Basic effects such as drop shadow & transparency
- Save your project for the web
Basically this is the Spark Notes version of Illustrator and I’ll be there the whole time, holding your hand and guide you through with a live chat so you can ask questions and we can work through this together.
So join me November 28, 2017 @ 1 PM EST / 10 AM PST
I look forward to seeing you ALL there! Cause I know you’re all professional business owners.
